Project Based Fitness Plans
Having spent over two decades supporting young people in both educational and physical development settings, I thrive on creating learning experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate. These plans have been carefully designed by combining my 17 years of teaching and 8 within the fitness industry and bring together curriculum ideas and real-world fitness expertise to create meaningful, active learning opportunities.

The projects do not follow individual lesson plans with fixed instructions or set timings. Instead, they are designed to be flexible and adaptable for different learners, environments, and schedules.
As you move through the project, you will find a range of suggested activities, challenges, and tasks. These are intended to provide ideas and inspiration rather than strict requirements.
Choose the activities that best suit your children, available space, resources, and learning goals.


This flexible approach allows children to learn at their own pace and explore areas of particular interest more deeply. It also encourages independence, creativity, and personal ownership of learning.
You may find it useful to look at the additional curricular activity suggestions before starting the project to help you consider development of tasks. For those following the national curriculum, this would allow you to make further meaningful links with age related outcomes.
