Corrective Exercise

Incorporating corrective exercise into your fitness regime offers numerous benefits, enhancing both physical performance and overall well-being. Corrective exercises are designed to address and rectify muscle imbalances, improve posture, and enhance movement efficiency. By focusing on these elements, individuals can significantly reduce the risk of injury, as these exercises help to strengthen weak muscles and increase flexibility in tight areas.

Additionally, corrective exercises promote better biomechanics, allowing for more effective and efficient execution of various physical activities, whether in sports or daily life. They also contribute to improved balance and coordination, which are crucial for maintaining functional independence, especially as one ages.

Corrective exercises can help alleviate chronic pain and discomfort by relieving tension and improving joint mobility. Overall, integrating these exercises into your routine can lead to enhanced physical capabilities, reduced injury risk, and improved quality of life.

If you answer 'YES' to any of these questions, then Corrective Exercise is for you!

The BioMechanics Method is a systematic assessment and corrective exercise process used by health and fitness professionals in over 60 countries to help people alleviate muscle and joint pain and improve their movement capabilities.

When you first begin working with me, you will undergo a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment. Results from this assessment will then guide me in understanding what muscles and other soft tissues structures are contributing to discomfort you are feeling. This information will then be used to select and design a sequential and progressive corrective exercise programme to allievate your aches and pains, so you can move without limitations and enjoy life to the full!
